A Great Experience

It was my second time to visit the Oxford Elementary School. I've spent the whole time only in the auditorium. I was surprised at the class. Some of kids worked in the postoffice, some of kids worked in the hospital and some of kids tyied to find some dairy products in the suparmarket. We don't have such a class in my country. I thought the class will be very useful for the kids' future, because they can know how to work and how to buy in the school.
During the time, I was in the hospital and I supported the kids how to solve some problems. The problems were about calcium. Although the problems were very difficult for the kids, they made an effort and asked many questions to me and the teacher to solve those. I tried hard to support them and they solved all of those problems. I was happy because of their smile.
There were two things I was surprised. One is that the kids were very positive to solve the problems. They asked many questions to me and the teacher, and they worked very hard on the problems more than I thought. Another is that they followed what the teacher said in one time. I'm sure those kids will be great adults. As a result, visiting a school is very good experience for us and the kids because we can ecperience what American kids do in the school live not from a text book. The kids can also learn a variety of things from us. I would like to visit a school again and experience more and more.

  1. I want to ask you how you explained so complicated questions...like about calcium, because it was really hard for me to answer the questions clearly.

  4. I also get annoyed with the behaviour of the kids. It is admirable the responsability they work with. And what is more the order and organizacion with they went point by pint of what they were requested.
